The Rockets gaunlet of a schedule continues. The loss vs Arizona was not a bad one as Arizona proves they are for real and after back to back MAC road wins @ OU and @ Western Toledo heads to Purdue. Purdue hasn't looked good yet and let Ball State hang around last week. I think the Rockets have a shot this week. With Wyoming and Boise on deck, it doesn't get any easier..

A couple of good road tests for the Rockets. Even if they don't win any games in these next three (although I think Purdue and Wyoming are beatable) they need to get the offense straightened out and ready for MAC play. A 2-0 start is great, but we need to keep it up.

By the way, congrats to Eric Page for being named National Returner of the Week and Desmond Marrow for being named MAC West Division Defensive Player of the Week.

GO ROCKETS... TB's a helluva coach and a real good guy--too bad we'll only have him for another year or two :(

I live in West Lafayette among the Purdue faithful.....I'll take Toledo by a Touchdown. Too many injuries have plagued Purdue this year, offense is young and the the defense has a weak secondary.

I went to the Purdue Ball State game last week. Purdue came out and scored two quick TD's and it looked like it would be a blow out. After that Ball State started playing better and I thought they looked the better team until the freak TD Purdue scored on a pass that should have been intercepted. Number 94 for Purdue is a beast on the D line but only when he feels like playing which is about 50% of the time.

The Purdue QB got dinged up on a stupid QB sneak call midfield and was not as effective the rest of the game. The backup had some good runs.

If Toledo is better then BSU, it could be a good game.

Game time coming up. I think Toledo holds their own today and if they get some breaks could win it. The defense has been great and will need to be again. Donald, Molls, and Ballard will need to make some plays. Senior DE Alex Johnson is out for this game and probably atleast the next two. Dantin can't make mistakes and turn it over and give Purdue short fields. Go RRRRRockets!

Touchdown RRRRockets! 7-0. Dantin to Page for the TD. And the defense gets a 3 and out on the first possession and the Rockets have it back.

Marve out of the game for Purdue. Injured and fumbled led to an Austin Dantin TD pass to Danny Noble. Purdue 3 and out again and the Rockets have it back.

Penalties hurt UT on that drive. Purdue has it back good field position.

Radio said Marve out for season with torn ACL....

i'll say this, there is something seriously wrong going on in the Athletic training dept at Purdue....How many injuries this season alone? Robbie Hummels injury last season?

I don't know about Purdue's training staff but this injury couldn't be prevented. Just a freak thing, he dropped back and it looked like his knee caught..

Another 3 and out forced by this Rocket defense.

This injury will be at least the seventh injury both on-off season due to contact....and if you look at other sports around Purdue, the injuries are close to the exact same thing...

There wasn't contact. Other than contact with Marve's feet and the ground. I'm not saying there isn't a problem in their training department, I'm just saying this didn't look preventable. Just looked like an unfortunate accident.

24-17 Toledo. Purdue offense is 3 for 3 this half. Toledo needs a good drive here to respond.

Nice job covering the over with Mavre out. Didn't think they'd be able to get there.

Love seeing Eric Page ball out. I remember following him at Springfield HS. I think he has a chance to make in the the league as an all purpose guy.
