That's fine and it may very well be correct. My point was that we can't quote Wiki or another source and actual facts/dates/characters and assume the show to follow that because it may not. It was the same with Deadwood. All that was true stuff, but the writers embellished and made up characters, events, etc for the sake of the show. So, we may have an non-fictional character interacting with a fictional character at some point or a n-f character doing a fictional event. That's all I meant.

DVRed it but still need to watch it. I caught a few minutes of it flipping back and forth and what I saw looked good.
The main reason I got HBO a year ago was to watch some of their original programing, only to discover I was way to behind on anything that seemed interesting to know what was going on. I'm glad there's a new show that has caught my interest.

Have you used the On Demand feature to watch old episodes?

Yeah man, just go to on demand. You get every premium channels (that you are paying for, so not showtime if you only have HBO erc). shows that are over a few days old (up to like 5 years) for free.krambman;493160 wrote:DVRed it but still need to watch it. Everyone still watching? I started late but I've almost caught up after watching episode 5, 6 and 7 tonight. Top notch programming.

hmmmm, haven't even heard about this until just now since I don't have HBO. Guess I will have to catch up online.

I love Chalky White! One of the best scenes on the show thus far: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zweq4ZabNd8
Chalky: These are my daddy's tools.
KKK Guy: What are you going to do with them?
Chalky: Well. . . I ain't buildin' no book case.

Its amazing. I am currently a week behind (on DVR), but it has been an amazing season 1. HBO picked up season 2 after only the second episode I think.
Amazing to think of the cash HBO put forth for the premiere. They spent millions on building a boardwalk in, I think, Brooklyn and it was the most expensive single show HBO has ever put forth. I would venture the premiere alone is more than some shows entire seasons have cost. But it was well worth it. Ratings are great and the show is fantastic.
Im loving the Al Capone character.

I love that the guy playing Capone is Tommy from Snatch.
