What if there were term limits and the impetus for re-election is removed?
What if people actually vote the way their constituents want and not the way the Speaker of the House tells them to vote?
What if true statesmen were in Congress and not professional hookers masquerading as representatives and senators?
What if our congressmen empowered people and not government?
BTW - when's the last time it happened that a new bill gave more rights to individuals and took away regulation and control from government? I don't know the answer, but I can't think of any. Civil rights legislation of the 60's comes close, but they created governmental agencies and bureaucrats to monitor and control the new legislation. Even if this is the answer, when was it...45 years ago?
