All games currently in the 3rd quarter.

Minnesota is leading 14-13 with 5:47 left in 3rd

Oklahoma and Air Force are tied, 10-10 with 11:00 left in 3rd

With 10:00 left in the 3rd, Wisconsin and Arizona State are tied 13-13

Florida and Tennessee are tied 10-10 with 9:00 left in the 3rd

USC 19, Minnesota 14 with 4:45 left in third.

Why in the hell is Lane Kiffin constantly going for 2?

I was wondering the same thing. He had to go for 2 after the KO return because they failed after their 2nd quarter TD. Maybe he is just that confident/cocky.

Lane Kiffin has been way too lucky for way too long. Even with the sanctions, I don't see him lasting more than the 3 years at USC, especially if that program starts to fall apart.

Too Lucky way too long? The guy has ONLY been a head college coach for one full year, going 7-6. He was 5-15 as a pro coach. He has only been a head coach for 3 yrs! Thats the kicker..he gets all this PR and hoopla for...what? Absolutely nothing. He hasn't proven jack shit.
As for USC....I said prior to the season, they wouldn't be that good. They have nothing to play for. And they are decimated with numbers and depth. USC is going to be mediocre for at least a few years. You don't have what happened to them by the NCAA and not miss a beat. All one needs to do is look at Bama in the early 2000's. Hit hard by scholarship losses and it definately took a toll.

Thats what I meant by too lucky too long, in terms of his career. How do you suddenly become a head coach at Tennessee after going 5-15 in the NFL? And how do you get to USC after one season of 7-6 ball at Tennessee???
