Just being off for 10 days is ok with me but Cancun will be the icing on the cake. Cancun Monday 9/20 - Sat 9/25. Glad Hurricane Karl decided to spare my vacation and the other 2 storms won't be a threat!! Walking out of the office now!!

That looks like an awesome place, Fab!

For those of you who have been to Cancun before, what's the tourism stuff like?
I haven't done any investigating yet, but I'm really wanting to take a day to see some churches and possibly ruins, if I can fit them all into one day. Or one day + one morning.
OR, I might just lounge in the sun all day and club at night.

I couldn't take the baby (so my excuse trumps yours).

We're leaving for the bahamas via carnival triumph in 24 hrs.

Enjoy the free tequila in the shops but watch out for the street peddlers/panhandlers. Some dude kept trying to get my attention yelling "hey Rambo, Rambo" to get me to buy something. Now I'm a pretty big dude but with red hair I look a whole helluva lot more like the guy off of the box of Lucky Charms than I do Stallone. They want you to haggle with them but you almost feel guilty with how low their prices are to begin with.

Great first day! Resort is beautiful. Have had a too many drinks and a ton of food, gonna call it a first early night and the party will pick up first thing tomorrow.

Well last night of vacation and I'm hemmed up in bed early. I decided to jump on the mechanical bull tonight at a show we went to, all went well until 15 seconds in and I was bucked off. I landed ribs on top of my elbow and I'm hurting very badly thank god for advil and vodka. I don't think I broke my rib or ribs as my breathing is ok but I'm in serious pain in my ribs/back. Tomorrow is going to be a very long day of traveling. However I wouldn't change a thing. Vacation was great and I highly recommend this resort to anyone. I have tons of pics to go through and will post some next week after I'm settled back home and get a chance to download everything. Thank god I don't have anything to do Sunday I am looking forward to laying on my couch.

I had also picked up two speedos for this trip, I thought it would be funny as I have never worn those before and probably won't again but it was a huge hit and alot of fun and laughs were had by all!!
