He was 22 of 29 for 235 yds. w/2 scores--to go along w/2 picks--and the Buckeyes won big, and are 3-0. It's a long season, but IMO he's still in the running...and who said anything about handing anybody anything ?

Next week will be huge for him. They don't have to win I don't think but they need to be competitive at least.

Right now I would have to say
1. Ryan Mallet
2. Denard Robinson
3. TP
4. Kellen Moore

TP is in because his stats have been what they should and he put up 346 total yards on a top 15 team (and a top 25 defense)

Can't disagree with that. All of those guys and probably a few more will be in the running. Ingram was off to a pretty decent start today too. I think his first rushing attempt went for 40+ and his first 4 were for 102 yards.

Close, Duke. They are a "BCS" team at least. 5 carries 119 yards 2 TD's early in the 2nd quarter.

sarcasm. Every post I made about his game you discredited it. I never said Duke was a good team. Either way 5/119/2 in your first action 10 days removed from knee surgery isn't terrible.

No I didn't. I was just saying that it doesn't propel him back to the top of the heisman talk. Saine had 109 and 2 tds on 9 carries against Marshall, maybe we should talk Heisman for him too

Did Saine win the Heisman last year? I don't remember. Ingram will be in the discussion if he continues to play like he did last year and so far today.

Wow, congrats. Man, is Pryor having impressive #'s against nobodies. Alot of QB's can have good stats vs. Marshall, Ohio and a overranked Miami. But, Pryor has the next 3 weeks to pad his stats against Eastern Mich, Illinois and Indiana. FIVE creampuffs out of 6 games. Man.......the Big 10 is tough!!

I don't think I said that. He won the Heisman last year, obviously if he puts up similar numbers this year voters are going to remember him. Half of the voters don't know who Saine is. I guess this is difficult for some to understand.

Did you skip over the "this year" part? How can you honestly compare Ingram and Saine? Are you really that dense?

You actually have no idea what I am saying.

You said "Look what ingram is doing already!"

and I am saying "if that is all you need to get into the Heisman talk, then look at Saine"

Then you are saying "but Ingram won the Heisman last year"

and I say "ok, so it's a career award?"

and you say "if you really are comparing saine to ingram you are dense"

Obviously I am not comparing Saine to Ingram. I am saying that ONE GAME does not make a Heisman contender, nor do I think it should be a career achievement award. Obviously you think the opposite.

Ok. Do you think the voters have completely forgotten that Ingram won the Heisman last year? IF he continues to put up numbers like he has for the remainder of this season (read: more than one game) he will be in the discussion. Lets see after this weekend where Ingram is on all of the pundits Heisman lists. After one game he will be in the mix. The voters are human, I'm not saying its a career award either, but for you to say that last year is completely erased from their memory is you being dense.

Just go on with whatever you want to think and go on thinking whatever it is you are thinking i am saying (or being "dense' about for that matter). I'm done with this stupid argument.
