Looks like it's one of those threads where you get to brag about yourself.

3 year letter earner in HS. State Runner up senior year. 3rd team All Central District in D3

Went to West Liberty my freshman year and was All Freshman Team, 3rd in the conference in rebounding

Transferred to Ashland and was a 2X All Conference player and an All Region selection. Mid way point of my senior year I was averaging 20 points, 10 rebounds and shooting 68% from the field. Then teams learned how to guard the 2 moves in my arsenal and I ended up averaging around 17 and 10.

College career I had over 1,000 points and 800 rebounds. Also led the country in FT attempts my senior year. All while at the D2 level.

I can shoot a jump shot, throw a spiral and kick a hacky sack like three times before it hits the ground.

-Varsity Soccer (Fr, So, Jr, SR...All State as a JR and SR...school record for goals scored in a season and career 28/78...Went to Indiana and was invited to walk on to their practice squad. Squad consisted of 20 players who were let go in waves. Last player or 2 made the team. I was the last player let go. Worst feeling of my life.)

-Varsity Basketball (Fr, So, Jr, Sr...scored 43 points in one game, 26 the last 3:57 of the game...League POY averaging 8 boards and 22 points a game. Recorded 4 quadruple doubles....1,545 career points. Turned down D2 and D3 offers to go to Indiana University and try to play soccer.)

-Varsity Tennis (Fr, So, Jr, Sr...Went to states in doubles Sr year)

-Varsity Track (Jr, Sr....Only ran when the team needed an extra guy for a sprint or mile run etc.)

Last year I played baseball was 8th grade. Hit .713 with no strike outs and was POY in the league. Our all star team went on to the regionals of Ohio.

Id say Im still in good shape. Just graduated from college and am a basketball official.

Actually I was a varsity letterman 4 years in wrestling (captain my junior and senior years) and I believe I still hold some records at school 10 years later (maybe).

Football only my senior year. Team made the state finals and lost by 1 point.

Played varsity basketball SO-SR years in high school. Only averaged 6-7 points per game, but led the team in rebounds, steals, blocks, and was #2 in assists my senior year. Played everywhere from 2-5 positions on the court. Also qualified for a few national tournaments at the AAU level, but we never went (too pricey).

Stopped playing baseball after 6th grade. Probably a mistake as it was my best sport. I made the league all-star game all 4 years of "kid pitch", and was the starting pitcher in the all-star game in 4th and 6th grades. Also probably top 3 in home runs in the league and almost never struck out. I just got bored with it.

Stopped playing football after 6th grade too. I was a good QB and great receiver. Probably would have played WR if I kept going. I ended up at 6'4, I only run probably about a 4.6-4.7, but I have great hands. Football just wasn't worth it to me. I'm lazy. Wasn't going to get up at 6 am in August for 2 a days, lift all the time, and practice 100 times to play 10 games (and lose at least half of them where I'm from).

Played soccer until 5th or 6th grade. Never made above the "B" travel team. Good goalie but never put in the work to improve at anything else, plus I didn't understand the game back then.

I have nothing to show for my athletic abilities in the past because when I was getting my quality (pitiful) Senate League education all I did was get high, drunk, and show up for school once or twice a week. That was good enough for a 3+ GPA there, and I was an idiot, so that's what I did. I was a good pickup game player though. I remember at CSU we would get pickup games going against some of the basketball team when I was supposed to be working security. We also played some pickup football games down at Edgewater Park. Those were the good old days.

This thread is going to be entertaining.

As far as my athletic career is concerned...

if coach woulda put me in fourth quarter, we would've been state champions. No doubt. No doubt in my mind.

Only a complete tool like belly35 would start a thread of such worthless proportions. Who in the hell is responsible for telling this DB where the party was?

With all the "bragging" we're set to see in this thread, it's nice to see you're attempting to even things out with your brutal self-honesty, haha.

HIGH SCHOOL: Cross country -- three-year letterman; wrestling -- two-year letterman; track -- zero-year letterman (I just didn't care; I only went out to give myself a controlled environment to train for the next year's cross country season. After wrestling, I was a bit out of shape as far as distance training went and track helped springboard me into my summer routine, which usually was me running 3-6 miles a day and going to as many road races as possible. Besides, as a distance runner, I'd be doing those races where you go in a circle a whole bunch of times and that bored me).

COLLEGE: Spent a year-and-a-half on the OU club Ultimate Frisbee team. Fun times. Got to go to tournaments in Toronto and Nashville and met a lot of cool people. It was sort of a legit sport, since the university reimbursed us for at least a good amount of our travel expenses. I know....I got stuck being treasurer my senior year and had to regularly drop off receipts and stuff at the club sports office. It was really a bummer when I was chilling at my house collecting a good buzz and someone would call me because I "should" have turned in stuff a week ago....

I must say that my body was not as good as my talent.

Baseball- came up just short of lettering my fresh. year as I traveled with the varsity and was used as a reliever, so only saw an inning or 2 every other game or so. Ended up with tendonitis in my shoulder and had to hang it up due to pain and numbnes when I would throw.

Football- 2nd string NG as a Soph, so saw quite a bit of action on a terrible team. Got dumped on my head at the end of the season and the Neuro.....Neuril......Brain Doctor told me unless I planned on Football paying for college, or being a carreer, I should hang it up.

Current- I am now demoted to Church league volleyball, and won a League title as the pitcher for my softball team this Summer. I don't think I could function without some sort of sport in my life. That is until I can start to live vicariously through my son!

Soccer Freshman year... wasn't that great but enjoyed it.

Swam all 4 years of high school. Individual Academic All-American and All-American on a couple of relays. Swam 1 year in college.

I want to do triathlons... was going to try a few this past Summer but things didn't work out how I planned. Didn't have my running up to par yet. We'll see about this next Spring/Summer.

My senior year our school formed a baseball team for the first time in school history. I was the only player able to throw strikes consistently and was the designated pitcher. Went on to set a WV state record for most losses by a pitcher with a record of 1 win and 18 losses.

I could have been an all-state wrestler but was too well endowed for the sport.

Travel league baseball in elementary school and junior high --- coaches from my high school still say that I was/am the best player they've ever seen at that age. I was pretty studly -- Played every position and batted .450-.500 as the #2 hitter in the best league available at the time. Went to the state championship tournament for our age and came in 2nd. Just before joining the league I was in the general elementary school league batting like .850, those leagues were a joke.

I was an above average high school player, but nothing like I was in junior high. Played varsity junior/sophomore year, batted around .350, batted 6 or so at the beginning of the season and ended up in the 2 spot. We were Toledo runner ups both years I believe. I got some sort of city/state award for indivudal play --- don't really know what it was.

I also bowled -- averaged around 200 at the end of high school.

Played tennis on the side, not on the high school team. I partly wish I would have taken tennis more seriously as I think I could have been very good at the game, I could have walked on and been the #1 single player.
