There has to be some WBL fans on here.. The Kenton vs OG game is definitely the most intriguing because the winner gets put into a great position. Also what in the world is going on in Elida, St. Mary's, and Defiance? Not those team's usual performances to say the least.

I haven't seen any St. Marys games because I am out of the area, but I heard that the new coach has gotten away from the traditional Wing T and is more of a I formation running style now. That coupled with the fact that had their worst record in 10 years last year (5-5) under the new coach, and you get a bad mix. I'm gathering that the coach is losing support from the community and the players aren't buying into his system (Only 53 players on the roster when there are usually 70-80+).
I can only guess that Elida has either played much weaker competition so far or might actually have all the pieces in place because this coach has stuck around for a little bit and has been able to at least build some kind of foundation.
No clue about Defiance.

I don't think anyone can hang with Kenton. Too much offense. I don't think they will get a good matchup until about round 2 of the playoffs.

I'm just curious. Anyone still in that area (St. Marys especially) think that Hollars' days might be numbered? Right now St. Marys is sitting at 1-4 with games still
vs. OG
vs. Wapak
vs. Kenton
@ Van Wert
vs. Shawnee
I only see 1 possibly 2 wins here. Which would give us our worst record since 1995. Some family members I talked to are thinking he might be out after the season is over. I'm just looking for some more opinions on the issue.

I really don't think anyone will touch them the rest of the year. If they steer clear of OG in the Playoffs...watch out

Tonight was..interesting in Kenton. Lol what a drive back for Celina after that. 38-0 in the 1st quarter. How could you not be dejected after that..
Wapak and Kenton this Friday for a league title. Should be a great game.

I was at the Elida game Friday night... I don't know what the school record for points in a game is, but I don't remember them scoring 65 points or more in a long time! 15 years since their last winning record until now! Any idea on what their standing might be in regards to the playoffs? ... Their last 2 games are @ Defiance and home vs. Wapak

Right now they are in 5th place in Region 10 slated to play @ Oak Harbor via Joe Eitel's site....joeeitel.com.
I would really like to see them get in the playoffs. They always field players and play hard even though they are the basement dwellers of the league. Regardless of team affiliation, if you don't root for Elida, then you aren't a real fan.
