A couple of million is plenty if you don't care about fur coats, 5 carat nose rings, $100,000 cars and $5 million homes. Those fools end up broke when they're 40.

Your not just a money grabbing female, you're a hore.

You're right. I think all NFL players should cancel their contracts and play for free. You must be a NFL owner.

Are you serious? Why would a player choose to play for free when they can make millions?

What the hell is the Brew Crew. Help a non-OSU person out.

Leinart did earn himself almost what, 30 million dollars total before he was cut. He got like 15 million just to sign, even as the 10th pick. He got to spend a 5th year in school, own Southern California and still cashed it in. He's been able to skate by in the NFL without really having to risk his body or exert much effort or be under much pressure. Not a bad gig if you ask me...

Michael Brewster was one of the first big pieces to commit to OSU in his class, and was instrumental in getting many of the other lineman in his class, as well as other recruits that year to come to OSU. Thus, they were labeled the Brew Crew

Like I said, Pryor isn't going anywhere even if he wins the Heisman and a NC.

The only guy I could really see leaving would be Brewster.

Reminds me of Blue Mountain State if you ever watched it. The best gig in the world has to be a multimillion dollar backup QB in the NFL.

You get to be on an NFL team and thus score mad pussy if you're single, you're making millions of dollars playing the game you love, you don't have to get it, and if something happens and you get in the game, there's no pressure because you're the backup.

Do it.

It doesn't matter right now. Later in the season, maybe. But, after the 2nd game? Too much time left.

But, the lockout situation has to come into play.

Just an FYI, the CBA is in effect until after the NFL Draft. Therefore, there will be a draft next year. My guess is that the possibility of a lockout will still be looming large by draft day. It is definitely an unfortunate circumstance for college underclassman who may be thinking about entering the league.

It doesn't really matter to me if they stay or go. If they stay, good. If not, then we will replace them with someone just as good, if not better.

Should you not hope for them to leave then?

I would bet millions if Leinart could go back and do it all over again he would have never have stayed that extra year. He would have came out, been the #1 overall draft pick, earned probably close to $15-20 million more in guaranteed money, and would have had a lot more "job security" as a #1 overall pick would have been used on him instead of a later 1st rd pick.

Uhmmm... You're arguing my point genius. Sanchez DIDN'T stay... he left EARLY. Pryor is saying "Stay everyone." Wow. Thanks

It is very easy for people who do not have this opportunity to say yea I would definitely stay in college. 25 Million guaranteed to go play in the NFL would be very very hard to turn down IMO.

Also like others have said, Pryor will get drafted but no where near the first round IMO. He is good but no where near first round quality IMO. With this being said, It is much easier to stick around when your not getting first round money. The 3erd or 4th round money is always going to be there, the first round is not.

Yes, they will hold a draft and everything business as usual, however, just because you are drafted and even signed doesn't mean you get paid when they lock you out. I don't expect any signings until the cba is figured out. So the point is simple: you leave early, you get drafted, you still might not get paid right away.

The only decision an underclassmen can make before the cba is finalized.....is to stay in school

Also there is many QB's in this draft that are very good NFL prospects. Pryor is going no where IMO but dont hold your breath on the other possible first rounders.

I am also worried about Posey. He could go this year if he wanted. He has looked very good the past 2 seasons with a very poor passing game at OSU. If Pryor was a better passer and could throw the deep ball more, Posey's stats would be phenomenal.

We couldn't beat Miami in'02 either

Right...because only Florida players who aren't going to be a one stay.

Nobody will tell him he's a one anyway

Did I say that??? No

This OSU team is not nearly as good as the '02 team...and this Alabama team might be as good or better than the '02 Miami team
