I count 28 with the Stubbs fly-out AB going for 8, and then the Hanigan walk going for 5 being the only ABs more than 3 pitches.

Reds lucky that Jones shot didn't go over the wall in left. I think it was hit just as good as the Snyder HR but the hour plus of cooling and the air settling kept it in the park.

And Bailey does a great job getting the next two to strand Jones at 2nd. He still had the option to pitch around Doumit if he hadn't gotten him with his pitches. 7 innings, 9 Ks, 0 BB, 5 H, 1 R.

Heisey with a hard collison at 1B on a terrible play by the Pirates!

Good to see Massett pitch a clean inning to help get yesterday's debacle into a little more distant past!

Braves tie it at 4 with no out in the bottom of the 6th. First and third with McCann up.

Pathetic AB by Stubbs. He was supposed to bunt the runner over for Janish and Hanigan with them not able to pitch around them with a pinch hitter coming up for Massett. But he failed miserably, and I wasn't impressed with his demeanor when he got the bunt sign.

Now 8-4 Atlanta. Reds fans should not want either team to sweep the series. Think best record in the NL.

Let's see if Coco walks anyone to let the tying run come to the plate!

Nope, gives up a two strike hit by not getting the ball in enough!

Pirates hitters bearing down and hitting smart, just like the Reds did in their 3-run inning.
