Miami shouldn't even have had the great field position after the punt return.

Go watch the tape and the clear penalty right in front of the official to spring Parrish free.

If you can't gain two yards in four tries when it's all on the line, STFU about being a champion.

The tug was enough to turn Gamble around on his route. As most OSU fans know, that was supposed to be a quick crossing route. When Gamble got grabbed by the jersey, he got turned around and was forced to change his route toward the sidelines which was not in his favor since he was lined up on the short side of the field to begin with. Obviously taking off for the sidelines didn't leave him with too much room to make the grab in bounds, which he nearly did anyways.

So I'd say that 'small tug' had some relevance to Gamble running the rest of his route and making the catch.

No both of you are wrong.

The blown call is the fact that the ball was caught in bounds and it was incorrectly ruled incomplete. It's kind of inconclusive from that angle but from another angle it's clearly a catch. If it was ruled a catch, the game probably ends soon thereafter.

So they just praised the official that made the call for no reason? GTFO.

If any TRUE fan of football really believes that call was bad then turn in your fan card now because you are too stupid to enjoy this GREAT game. The only knock on the flag was that it was late....that its.

Almost 100% correct, there is no time limit on flags.

Not a fan here, just an impartial participant.

Over the course of the game, there are a lot of little penalties like that, some are called, some are not. The fact remains Ohio State is the 2002 National Champion, and no amount of Miami crying is ever going to change that, and you can take that to the bank.

It pains me to say this considering who authored it, but...

This.
