Fuckin Phillips swung at an obvious ball on a 2-0 count with 2 on and no one out...hits into a double play. That's the kinda shit that'll cost you game in the standings.

And the TV guys saying he is tired???? Come on, he didn't play except for pinch running for how many games in a row? A much more likely story is that his hand is still bothering him a lot. But he also has had costly base running and fielding miscues.

that's what I was speaking of earlier......Phillips is a good hitter but he thinks has to get his his hits on certain counts...not necessarily on what is pitched

BP is sucking terribly right now. I wouldn't mind seeing Valakia back for a couple games. BP just isn't with it, whether it's his hand, exhausted, just slumping, or what.

Going to Colorado has been a freakin' nightmare. Disappointing. I thought the Reds would surely get at least a split out of this series.
