The unearned insurance run was the difference tonight. Tonight's home plate ump was light years superior to yesterday's on balls and strikes! But even so he missed an important pitch in the 9th - the 2nd pitch to Francisco was off the plate and he called it a strike to make it 0-2 instead of 1-1.

Reds have lost 4 of their last 5 ..... Need to take one of the next two in Colorado and hopefully get healthy with a 7 game homestand w/ Pittsburgh & Arizona in town

Amazingly, going 1-4 on the road trip so far, the Reds will end today's play with a six game lead in the NL central and still have the best record in the NL.

Seems like all the NL leaders are fumbling these days the Pads have been pathetic. Hopefully the Reds can get this turned around.
