Figured I would get the discussion going since no other thread was started.

I think they should win this game by at least a touchdown and it be a relatively comfortable victory. Hopefully Delhomme can continue to impress in leading this offense as well as Harrison starting to seperate himself as the go to lead back.

what does you alls sayz?

On paper I honestly believe the Browns should start 2-0. It is the Cleveland Browns though, so I can easily see them starting 0-2.

I think the line is -2.5 or -3 Buccs. Wouldn't be a bad game to bet on, I think Browns should win, but we all know it is Cleveland.

I don't see the Bucs offense doing much of anything.

Cleveland's defense is getting better and I think it will be part Browns defense forcing turnovers and part Bucs offense just being woeful. And then Cribbs will make a big play somewhere.

Browns win 20-3

Cribbs will do something to win this game, I agree with Non.

Tampa is a VERY bad team. If the Browns lose this, it will be a LONG season.

I concur. It's amazing how in just a few years, the Bucs have fallen from an upper-tier team to the garbage squad they currently are. Cleveland loses this one and even the 6-10ish predictions that seemed to be the general average for them on this site will look like pipe dreams.

Both teams were atrocious last season. Last 4 games aside, the Browns were the worst team I have ever seen disgrace the Cleveland uniform. Thats why no game, not even the Tampa Bay Bucs should be taken lightly. Its hard not to judge them through Browns colored glasses. The fan in me expects to win, reality tells me to expect a tough game.

This game will sadly be a litmus test.

If they lose, they will be picking in the top 3 of next years draft, possibly 1st as I don't see them easily beating anyone.

If they win a close one, they will be lucky to win 5 games.

If they win by 2 or more scores they should finish where I believe they will, between 6-8 wins.

It's hard enough in the NFL to win by 2 or more TDs on the road, let alone for a bad team to do so. Highly unreachable, imo.

If they win a close game, I'll be just as happy as if they won by 2 TDs.

I'm actually expecting Delhomme to throw for about 225-250 yards in this one and for our ground game to rush for about 150. Tampa, I believe, was dead last in run defense last year.

Just seen that this game will be blacked out in the Tampa Bay area. The first game of the year, are you kidding me? I guess nobody wants to go watch two bottom feeders.

Both teams had trouble stopping the run last year , with TB being the worst. Give the ball to Harrison and Hillis. Hopefully Jake is back to his old form and our defense is improved. Should be a win for the good guys.
