Just recently returned from my second trip to Vegas.

Went in February for the first time, then again in August.

We stayed Downtown on Fremont Street again at the Golden Nugget.

Swam in the pool at The Tank in Golden Nugget and went down the slide through the aquarium.

Casino count this time around was 27.

Downtown
El Cortez (Played and lost)
Fremont (Played and lost)
Binion's (Played and lost)
Vegas Club (Played and lost)
The Plaza (Walked through and ate at their Subway)
Golden Gate (Played and lost)
Golden Nugget (Stayed here, played here, swam here and had the buffet here but lost)
Four Queens (Played and won plus had a steak at their steakhouse)
Fitzgeralds (Played and lost)

Strip
Treasure Island (Played and won a lot plus caught the pirate show)
Mirage (Played and lost)
Caesars Palace (Chilled in a recliner at the sports book for about 20 minutes and checked out the mall shops)
Bellagio (Walked through and caught part of the water show by the time we got to it)
New York New York (Walked through trying to find the skywalk across street to Excalibur)
Excalibur (Played and lost but ran into Gran-Ma-Ma Larry Johnson and his wife)
Luxor (Played and lost but got to see several Criss Angel motorcycles and the Hummer on display)
MGM Grand (Went to rain forest and to see lions but they were put away early)
Planet Hollywood (Just walked through)
Paris (Just walked through Paris)
Bally's (Played here and won a lot)
Bill's (Played here and won)
Flamingo (Played here twice and lost but Vinnie Favorito's comedy show was great as usual)
Harrah's (Ate our sundaes from the other place here)
O'Sheas (Just walked through)
Venetian (Wax Museum only)
Palazzo (Not 100% sure we made it inside this one but if we did, we didn't play)
Casino Royale (No play but the buy 1 get 1 free Ben and Jerry's sundaes were good)

Going back in March if anyone wants to fly along out of Columbus.

Actually gonna go back the end of February, not March.

Fly out Thursday 2-24 and return Tuesday 3-1.

Round trip with 4 hour non stop flight both ways on Southwest Airlines is around 270.00 per person.

No bag fees.

Rooms are 50.00-60.00 a night if ya want your own room.

You can make it 5 days on 500.00-600.00 spending money for food, gambling, bus, gifts, and etc if you play it smart.

And you can't take advice from rich people like BigAppleBuckeye and go rollin into the Spearmint Rhino as he always suggests. ;)

Anyone wanna go?

I'd like to live there but it's currently ranked the most depressed city and I believe that.

Even being there as a tourist is depressing at times, especially if you aren't winning shit. LOL!

I've done my research. California is not far behind in the depressed department. It sounds ridiculous, but I still want to enjoy In N Out Burger.

I dunno Chesapeake.

I've been to Vegas many times but only on business trips. Only gambled once. I had one nickle in my pocket and there happened to be a row of nickel slots in the convention center hallway. I put the nickle in the first machine and walked away $5 "richer."

I do enjoy Vegas shows and food. I also enjoyed riding the indoor roller coaster at New York New York.

Have a good time!

Just got back from my bachelor party in Vegas last week (my 11th trip to Vegas). My boys really did it right:

*Private poker table at the Palms for our crew
*VIP cabana at the Palms "Ditch Friday" pool party, followed by a Snoop Dogg concert at the pool deck
*VIP bottle service/couch upstairs at Ghost Bar
*Dinner at the N9NE Steakhouse (amazing bone-in filet mignon, truffle gnocchi and cabernet)
*Booth and bottle service at Spearmint Rhino
*Booth and bottle service at Olympic Garden

My body is still banged up!

I may be doing a weekend trip to Vegas later this year. Its about a 7 hour drive from where I live. Gotta stay out of the Spearmint Rhino this time, though. That cost me way to damn much money last time.

If you do go, do a pop-in before committing. We went, but the cops had raided the Rhino a few days before they got there, and none of the dancers were permitted to touch the customers ... WTF???!! Needless to say, we bailed and got bottle service at the OG, which was a blast (although the girls aren't as good).

No, seriously, I don't have the money or the desire to spend money at those places. I went with a buddy of mine last time, its the only time I have ever been to a strip joint, I have no desire to go back.

Oh, check out the Gold and Silver Pawn shop if you'd like. Its on the strip up by Fremont street. Its cool if you watch the show, but a lot of the store is t-shirt and stuff. Still cool to walk in, though.

Ill be heading to Vegas for the second time in about 9 months. My cousin is getting married just outside of Salt Lake City, so its a good excuse to fly into Vegas for 3/4 days.

Unfortunately, this trip will likely involve family. This is bad for several reasons, but does equate to free food and free drinks before they go to bed lol

Moab. Her Fiancee has lived in SLC since he graduated. The wedding is being held in some resort either in Moab or just outside of it

Cool, but I wouldn't call Moab just outside of Salt Lake. 240 miles is a long way. ;-)

Bought my tickets a couple of days ago for Vegas this December. Go once a year... strictly blackjack, but the tables are getting worse every year, between odds, automatic shufflers that I despise, high minimum bets in the evenings (only time I get to play due to work requirements), and not as many blackjack tables available anymore... But, I still love the town in short 5 day stints... LOL

Incredible dining opportunities in this city! I'm all in!
