From Revis' twitter:

@Revis24
it not has only been hard on u guys but it has for me too. I just want to tell yall that I'm sorry for this process and I can't wait to get back on the field.

Looks like 4 years, $46 million with $32 million guaranteed.

Good for both sides. With $32 mill guaranteed its only 11 more than his current (now old) contract, with an extra year for the Jets. Sounds like a good negotiation on both sides to me.

Very happy for the Jets fans out there, now you gotta worry about how the hell you're going to score points.

If that's the deal then I applaud revis for taking less. He deserves at least 14 a year. I'm sure he'll get paid huge by someone after this deal if he's still the best.

This will make for an interesting episode of Hard Knocks. Jets need him, because it looks like they may need to shut out everyone because that offense looks bad so far.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that the Jets will be in major trouble once the salary cap comes back?

Working the salary cap is Tannenbaum's strong suit. He's given me no reason to worry is the past and the Revis contract seems reasonable to me.

That secondary could be pretty scary for opposing QB's....Cro, Revis, Wilson....I think I'd try the run.

Wow, what happened to the 10 year 120+ we all were hearing about?

This one is good for the Jets.

i read somewhere that it is a 7 year contract but the last three years become void as long as he don't hold out between now and then
