OSU wins this one if Pryor can make good decisions and the defense keeps pressure on Harris. Also, the offensive line play is key for the Bucks. I can't wait, I'll be in A-deck section 23.

I believe it will be close for a little bit, but in the end OSU will win handedly, something like 24-10. The Ohio State defense will not be giving up the long plays that Florida A&M gave up and I'd say the crowd will play a factor. Miami probably has not been in this hostile of an environment for a long time.
Also, I saw that LeBron himself might attend this game to root on the Buckeyes. I laugh at this for two reasons. 1) He still doesn't get it that people in Ohio do not like him anymore. I doubt they will show him on the video screen but if they do I expect to hear a healthy barrage of boo's. 2) He hasn't even played a game for Miami yet and he's already going to a game and cheering against another Miami team (a la going to the Yankees/Indians game and cheering for the Yankees). He just does not get it.

The Buckeye D needs to hit Harris hard and often, our offense needs to keep the Hurricane D on the field for long stretches, and the Buckeyes MUST get their kickoff coverage problems figured out--field position will play a major role (as it always does), but especially in games against an opponent with so many weapons....GO BUCKS!!!

I wish I would have saw some of the Miami game to have a better understanding of them as a team. I think OSU is the more physical team and if OSU is going to win, they have to do it running the ball. The OSU defensive line has to be dominant as well. They need to be in Harris' face all game and don't let him get comfortable.

Miami has a lot of play makers on offense as does Ohio State. But the one big difference on offense is Jacory Harris' ability to find multiple receivers. Hankerson, Byrd, Epps, Benjamin will all be making catches for Miami. And Graig Cooper is ranked as the 4th best RB prospect right now. Every position is evenly matched offensivly between Miami and Ohio State. QB wise, RB, O line. Biggest difference will be the Miami receiving core.
Now defensivly Ohio State has a huge advantage, but with a group of talented receivers like Miami has we will see how good Ohio State's DB speed is.
This has all the makings for another instant classic. I just think the speed of Miami is going to be too much. Miami 28 Ohio State 17

That makes no sense. First off Wisconsin didn't crush anyone in January. Second, just because they beat them in January, doesn't mean that will carry over into September. Miami was banged up that game. Cooper their RB was hurt, Jacory had a bad arm, 3 OL were out, 2 DT's injured and also their best Linebacker. That was not the same Miami team Ohio State will face now.

Well then Jacory Harris is the only person that can beat Ohio State next week... So Ohio State should blow Miami out worse than they did to Marshall by your logic.

I hope that Shugarts and Adams have improved immensely since last week; Miami's DE's have gotta be licking their chops on being able to be successful w/ the speed rush

To say Harris doesn't scare you is fine, but that would mean you think OSU rolls in this game. Harris is a very good QB, and is capable of outplaying Pryor. If that happens, then OSU might be in for a long day.
The Miami defensive line scares me, but hopefully the OSU defensive line can put the same fear into Miami.
Anyone know if Nathan Williams will be playing? I think OSU badly needs him this game.

I am biased, but I think OSU wins by 2 scores. Miami really struggled when it played in a hostile environment last year (Virginia Tech crushed them, can't remember the score but it was ugly). The first quarter will set the tempo, with Miami playing the "revenge" card, and OSU scripting some wrinkles into the offensive gameplan. I think Miami has a good team, but I think OSU will learn from some of its conservative play-calling against USC last year and go for the throat on Saturday.
