I really thought Wood was going the way of Mike Leake, now you have to think he's in the driver's seat for a playoff start if he can level out.

I agree. I was worried after the last two starts but he looked Sharp as help today. Hopefully Bailey does the same tomorrow.

Whoever said the Cards are still a very good team without Pujols is just plain wrong. Pujols hasn't hit and they can't beat the Nats, Pirates or Astros.

I'm glad Rasmus couldn't play the whole game....kills us

And I'm with Chris Welsh.......playoffs are great...but I don't want any part of the Phillies in the 1st round Anyone else.

BTW....this whole season that I've watched him....including the all-star game Matt Holliday is the worst LF I've ever seen going back on the ball. He's worse all-around in LF than Carlos Lee IMO.

Caught bits and pieces but they played well in the inning I saw. Looked like the d was playing well as OC had a few nice running catches and Votto a few nice scoops at 1st. Hope they can continue and win a series vs STL.

OC plays a soft-handed SS for sure but man his arm looks very weak.....release is great but he looks like he's throwing it about 70 mph
