Got ya. I guess I'll have to reconsider going to Eastwood/Oak Harbor next week.

I'd go. If it wasn't for what I think will be a great game at Genoa I'd be at that game.

Shoot birddog is right. This Genoa team has maybe slipped a bit compared to last years but they did lose a lot of great talent. Not nearly as explosive and it hurts, this team is a lot like the 07 team. With that being said Oak Harbor looked sooo much more skilled its unbelievable. They've improved tremendously in every facet of the game and let me tell you if they had their QB for that last drive this would have gone to overtime. This is a very skilled and athletic group. I think Genoa and Eastwood is gonna be a classic this year.

As for Genoa you know what the amount of personal fouls was an absolute disappointment. I believe there was 6 personal fouls on the Comets, 2 on a 30 yard completion by OH. Again though loads of credit to Coach May for the strides his program is making and credit for the Comets who continued to make the big plays it needed to win. Genoa's Pass D needs work but man OH couldn't run the ball at all

Penalties on both teams hurt a lot. Tough loss for OH who truly believed they would win this game. I cannot say enough good things about how Coach May has turned the corner with this team. I hope this close loss to a quality Genoa team finally gets OH some of the respect they derserve.

Anyone have any updates about Cuevas's shoulder or Young's knee/leg? Both were sidelined last night with injuries.
