I will acknowledge Yappi has more high school interest, but anyone that has posted on all the boards for any length of time understand the issues there. Years ago many of the posters from the $12 site converged to Yappi because it was felt that the $12 site catered to smaller schools across the state. Hopefully the OC will strike a balance between all of the above and other schools and regions of the state which may have been under reported.

There were several times when I thought the site would have a mental crisis over Bellaire.

Apples and oranges. I happen to know Yappi is losing his left nut on his site, while both of Justin's are safely tucked away in his wife's purse.

Subjective opinion here:
Neither this site nor Yappi are comparable to the old JJ high school forum.
OC is far better then Yappi & JJ for general, pro and college forums.
I think maybe a separation of the state for football and strict enforcement of rules in that forum only would benefit numbers and discussion.

Maybe, maybe not. The last thing I would want to see here is to have the level of "success" that Anshole and Yappi have on Friday nights where it takes 10 minutes to pull up a page. The Puddle was started to share H.S. football scores, and it's been a complete and total failure at that for years.Subjective opinion here:

HAHA. My point was there were a number of posters from the Valley. There is hardly anyone on Yappi and OC as far as I know from Bellaire or Ferry (present company excluded of course).

Yeah, at first, any attempt to talk about Yappi on the Huddle would come out as "*****". And then, usually, that post would wind up being deleted, as (possibly) would your account. The sort of thinking that winds up leading to people affiliated with a site deciding they have ownership of the word "huddle" and should be sending out certified letters to others who dare use that word.
Maybe that's it, Justin. For us to move up from the minors, you have to become a ginormous asshole of a dickhead!

Don't forget the part where he comments on how all of us have sad, pathetic lives because of what we say to him from behind a computer screen...while ignoring how he's the one who is "lowering himself" to come here and make sure we know just how minor-league we are. Selective reality is a great thing to have.
As a side note, Ohio high-school based message boards seem to have fallen into the shitter. Out of boredom, I looked up JJ's and Yappi's on Alexa. For the 3-month period, they're both in the 370K area. For the 1-month period, JJ's has gone up a good deal to be at about 360K, while Yappi's fallen into the mid/high 400K area. With HS football starting, it'll be interesting to see what happens to those numbers, but I don't think EITHER site ever has been that low, off-season or not.
