I never said there is something wrong with a 30 year old dating a 21 year old..I know a couple people who dated people 7-8 years older than them after they get out of high school. My point is when im 27...or 40....or 60.......I dont plan on going out and banging college chicks because I can..I plan on being married and settled down, but I guess thats where our opinions differ.

Well you're not a good looking QB in the NFL...which is where the opinions differ.

And neither are you, yet you made the comment about not turning down one of those san diego state chicks when you are 40..

Pick, there is a big difference between being 27 and being 40 or 60 years old. Leinhart is still a very young man. I am not surprised to see you are 19. I will give you the advice my dad once gave to me; relish your opportunities to make friends and have relationships now, there will never be a time again in your life where you will have so many options.

That's really good advice. I like it.

It has a lot to do with it. Most of your experiences have and are happening with people your own age by default. In the next ten years, your world is going to open up and you won't be able to fit people into such nice little categories (by age, among other things). I hope your little life plan works out, you're married when you want to be and all that....but it is more likely you are going to learn that life doesn't always go how you plan it and there are just some moments, situations, and people that you embrace (including nailing college chics when you're old).

Well, you did:

Just because an older guy dates a younger woman doesn't mean he was out looking for college chics to bang. In fact, it is usually the exact reason younger women are attracted to older guys - the guy isn't just out hunting pussy (or at least is seasoned enough to appear as though that isn't the only goal).

At the end of the day, you have to do what makes you happy and say fuck the rest.

If anyone has reason to be pissed about this its the Arizona Cardinals organization. They invested a lot of money and time into Leinart and its more then obvious he has spent a lot of time partying. He should have been spending every moment that he had working on his game and maybe doing a little more here and there. A good example is Rodgers when he started at Green Bay, the guy kept working hard and when it was his time to start, he was ready to.

I guess its painfully obvious that when you are getting benched for Derek freaking Anderson, you havent gotten any better since the day you got there at Arizona. He will always have a ton of money and girls and will always be a legend at USC.

The thing is word from AZ Cards is that ML is the first one in last one out since Warner left and he still sux. Sounds like he had a decent outing in a limited role last night tho.

Even though he started the first two preseason games, he only threw 13 passes. He's something like 19-23 in the preseason after his last game, but its been a lot of short passes and only one TD. I never got the feeling the Cards were keen on just turning the reins over to him anyway and its kind of weird that a starter with his limited experience (especially in the last couple years) wouldn't be getting more snaps in the preseason if they ever intended to stick with him.

I think there is a difference in the way Leinart and Roethlisberger go about meating sorority girls.

It's the Brady Quinn Procedure. The Cardinals know he's bad, so they don't want to give him free reign, hoping that someone will throw them an enticing trade offer for Leinart. They give him free reign, he performs terribly, they get nothing.

Makes sense.

Anderson will be the starting QB which is what I initially thought would happen when he signed with Arizona. I thought he would win the job on his performance, not because Leinart would have a meltdown which would eventually get him traded/released from the team (which will likely happen soon).

If Anderson is the Cards QB throughout the season, they will be terrible because DA is terrible.

Not saying he's not terrible but the cards like to air it out and he can throw the deep ball. So it wont be a terrible mix.

My reasoning was that in 2007 when DA lit it up, he had guys like Braylon & Winslow and all he did was throw it in their general direction and they made him look better than he was. One would think that Arizona's WR's would make him look that much better. I do agree that he sucks though. Dude doesn't put enough time in watching film and way too much time with his other "recreational" activities.

Is that a "blow" reference?

And now the Cards shop Leinart around:

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AlqiovTydbopp6VwG50t11M5nYcB?slug=tsn-166680

"FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports the Cardinals are calling and e-mailing teams to inform them that Leinart, now an unhappy backup, is available. Glazer reports several teams have confirmed to him that they have been contacted by the Cardinals. It's not known what Arizona wants in a trade."

I like the last line there. Is that translated, "it is not known why the Cardinals think anyone will give them anything in a trade"?
