I say sweat over sabino is a surprise. Especially since I read that sweat was getting reps at LEO to fill in for williams. After watching OJ I am not surprised to see him behind barnett because he was out of position a lot in the spring game.

Did Bellamy come in as an offensive lineman?

Really wish we would be seeing Hall at RT rather than Shugarts.

Bauserman won out for 2nd string QB. Sounded like it was tightly contested by the others.

Looks like a really good mixture of ages on the depth chart.

hopefully Mike Adams looks like we all thought he would when he signed. Good to see him back in the Starting lineup.

I'm also shocked that Hall isn't on the 2 deep depth chart. Something has to be going on there.

He's redshirting, believed to be due to grades.

This scares me! I was really hoping Guiton had progressed enough to be the backup. If we ever have to rely on Bauserman, it won't be pretty.

I don't think bauserman won. He just got it because he has more senority. Believe me if we got into a no TP situation. Guiton would be in after the first bauserman pick.

lets hope your right.

it's easy to put bauserman on the DC at 2, i couldn't fathom him taking the rains if TP went down for an extended period.

The two that surprised me are Barnett over Johnson(which I don't think will be for long) and Sweat over Bino............. I also thought Bellamy was a DT. I would like to see PHilly Brown mix his way into the number 3 WR

What is going on with Sabino? Did he bang Tress's wife or something? Dude can't find his way on the field.

Let's not forget that Sweat has always been ahead of Sabino, he was seeing meaningful time at LB last year before his injury. Also, I'm pretty sure Johnson has an injury that has him #2 on the chart for right now.

Interesting that Tressel named both Saine and Herron the starter. I thought Saine was clearly ahead of Herron this spring after finally being healthy. That's what everybody here was saying.

We'll probably see a 60%-40% split between carries for Saine and Herron. Those are just for carries you would see out of your 1st string RB if you only had one RB. Hall and Berry will likely get a fair amount of touches as well.

Just from reading ALOT of articles about about spring and summer practice. It seems we'll see alot of Saine split-out, so the carries may be closer to even. Which makes sense because we're not sure what kind of depth we'll have at WR with quite a few unproven players in the 2-deep at that position. This is just my hypothesis from everything I've read. It could be way off!!

Tressel has been doing nothing but talk up Sweat in the papers quite a bit. Which is a bit unusual for him to do. So it definately sounds as though Sweat has been very impressive in camp.

^ Yeah I found that odd too. But Sabino was with the ones and Sweat was with the twos entire first week of camp, that I thought was odd.

I think that had alot to do with the fact that Sweat wasn't able to participate in the Spring. Probably didn't want to throw him directly in against the ones until they knew how he would react to contact after the injury.

If Saine and Herron split carries, I will be a little worried.

Then you might as well start to worry. Last season, Herron had 153 carries to Saine 145. Thats about as split as it goes and i would expect to see the same.

Tress loves him some Herron. Saine blew him on yards per rush and Herron was still getting more touches. Doesn't make sense.
