Yeah I saw that today.

Two words. Fuck. That.

Coming from the guy who skydives. I don't trust that damn thing to spin and keep that iron bar connected to me. Roller coasters are one thing, but that thing isn't ever having me on it. Vagina or not.

At first I was like "that's kind dumb, just a big swing," until I realized it's over 300 feet in the air and at a very steep angle. Doesn't look like much at first but I bet it's a bit more intense than most think.

What, did this replace the old Needle ride or whatever it was called? Doesn't swing that fast. Looks pretty tame, really.


Not even as bad as the old Swing, which was just a chain connecting your chair. Doesn't matter if you fall from 300 feet or 50 feet, you'd be dead either way.

That ride looks harmless. I have had the privilege of riding in the Red Baron Stunt Plane just like they flew at the air shows. However this park on the top of a sky Scraper in in Las Vegas looks a little frightening. http://www.scribd.com/doc/449659/Skyscraper-Top-Theme-Park

Yeah, the Space Needle is still there. In fact, you can see it in the video at about 38 seconds in.

As for the ride, I was hoping for a new coaster, but this sounds pretty sweet. Thought a swing sounded stupid as hell at first, but after seeing it I think it could be great.

The last time they built a tower this tall it collapsed during a storm in the offseason. And I don't do rides that involve nothing but sheer repetition.

I was also hoping for a new coaster but I'll still ride this (TWSS). If they don't build a legit coaster next year I will be pissed, though. Last year was that water ride and now this...

Here is what was in the press release I read:

The park’s operator, Cedar Fair, also announced on Tuesday that Kings Island near Cincinnati, Wonderland near Toronto and Knott’s Berry Farm near Los Angeles will also be getting the WindSeeker ride.
