I just updated for the WCH vs Logan Elm game.
btw Justin, "Washington" is the closest thing in the directory to Washington Court House. Not sure if you'd wanna change that or not.

Just a thought.. is there a way to add a "My School" feature? It would make it a lot easier for users to find the score of their hs.. especially b.c the site will probably lag a little bit on Friday nights.

Entered a bunch of scores, but on some of them justin..I get the error "Found no valid post with that title" and it wouldn't let me enter it. Any ideas?

Scores have to match schools names exactly how they are entered in the system. I think we need to go through the schools and make sure their full names are in there. Like Massillon Washington was entered into the system as just Washington. Akron Buchtel as just Buchtel. Etc.

the scoreboard is confusing looking....needs something to separate the games...it looks like a giant clusterfuck...smh

Also, I edited any schools as I went if I came across spelling mistakes/mistypes, there were only like 2 or 3. Had to change Admiral King HS to Lorain HS, and remove Lorain Southview because Lorain merged their high schools and changed the name (but are using the old Admiral King building) but the OHSAA directory isn't up to date yet.

I noticed while entering scores too that the time is set to GMT/Zulu on the scoreboard system, so when I came home Friday after the game and entered scores they were listed under Saturday's date. Can it be set to our time zone so anything after 8PM doesn't go to the wrong date, or can it be set where the date is user inputted? (In case a Friday score doesn't get entered until Saturday)

So I was going to add the scores to the couple of Thursday games, and everything involving this feature forwards me to the ohiochatter.com/forum page.
Is the front door and scoreboard idea dead in the water, or just undergoing minor tweaks before tomorrow?

It's dead, for now. It was the cause of the speed issues and I was tired of all the complaints. I'm working on it in the background but it won't be back for this weekend.
