This indictment...to get back on thread topic....is purely because of The Rocket's ego. The man thought he could simply say what he wanted to Congress and they would ultimately believe him....because he is Roger.

Of course this doesnt really explain why Congress was so inclined to spend millions of dollars investigating steroids in baseball, at a time when millions of Americans were being curbstomped at the pump.

Clemens pleaded not guilty today and then promptly headed to a golf outing in South Carolina.

If convicted on all charges, Clemens could face up to 30 years in prison and a $1.5 million fine, though under U.S. sentencing guidelines, he would probably face no more than 15 to 21 months in prison.
