I thought they should have called the TO when the guy was originally tackled. There was like 20 second at that point. Then run a play to the sideline or up the middle and clock it with closer to 2 second if need be. Dumb time management by the Texans.

Slaton was in there the last drive, he's a fumble machine. Probably not worth the risk to gain a couple yards.

If you want to get the ball to the middle of the field (for some reason) then why not have the QB run behind the line. At least try to push the pile a yard or two instead of just running to the middle and going down. Either way you have to believe your kicker is going to make that kick. Inside 50 yards with little to no wind. Kris Brown choked...again-
