I know it was a joke. It's in the same line of the OSU Michigan fans' banter. But I am proud to be a Genoa alum, ups and downs.

Do I think it will be the same this year..no. Ada again has some very good athletes and the lines are VERY strong, but TC was fairly young last year and bring back quite a few of the regular players. Should be a lot closer game this year

The more anyone puts up on them, the better. You could say I have some very bad memories of that place. Love to see them suffer.

It's suprising to me that they have Otsego 4th place in the SLL, after going 0-10 last year.

Not sure either about Otsego. They were brutal a year ago. One would think with the way Woodmore was playing at the end of last year that they would have been #4, especially bringing back the QB and a couple targets. All in all its going to be a rough first three weeks again for the SLL minus Genoa.

The SLL's playoff record is 19-34. Genoa won its region in 2008, and Otsego was state runner up in 1981.
5-6 - Eastwood
1-3 - Elmwood
5-3 - Genoa
2-4 - Gibsonburg
0-2 - Lake
4-10 - Otsego
2-6 - Woodmore
*Lakota never made a playoff appearance when it was in the SLL.

Big match-up this weekend in D6 in NW Ohio....Ada @ Columbus Grove. Both enter 2-0 with designs on being Northwest Conference champs. This game will provide a lot of puter points to winner. Ada's high octane passing attack vs CG's versatile and excellant running game. Should be a good one

Big match up between Sandusky (2-0) and Toledo St Johns (2-0)

Sandusky is finally starting to regain some of the storied history and prestige of the program. 7-2 in their last 9 games dating back to last season.

Should be a good game.
