Fight Club was an excellent film that completely holds up.
Of course you probably didn't like it as much as Transformers 2.

Transformers (all of them including every Michael Bay movie) is a total POS. Nice FAIL idiot. Fight Club was decent with a shitty dumbass ending. OMG HES BEATING HIMSELF UP! LETS FOLLOW HIM AND TAKE OVER THE WORLD! OMG it was SUCH A CLEVER TWIST!!!! No it wasn't it was a dumbass ending that is akin to "It was all a dream! Thank goodness that nightmare is over!" ending. The twist wasn't even revealed in a clever way, and then the following sequence/montage cough LMAO cough was a total POS. Way to bring up a zombie thread/comment too.

Fight Club is an awesome movie, but the book is better and the ending in the book is different (won't say it on here as to not spoil it).Commander of Awesome;482528 wrote:Transformers (all of them including every Michael Bay movie) is a total POS. For the most part the movie is very close to the book with many of the films great lines lifted right out of the novel.
And if you don't like Chuck Palahniuk there is something wrong with you. And, as Sleeper would say, you can take that to the bank!

Aaron Sorkin wrote the movie and David Fincher directed it. Clearly this is going to be awesome!

I hate to say it, but I agree with COA. Fight Club gets more credit then it should. (The ending is the downfall. Pretty good movie up to that point. The plot holes involved with Brad Pitt's character really ruined it for me).
With that being said, The Social Network looks pretty solid to me
I saw "The Social Network" last night. I wasn't expecting much, but the movie was really good. I thought Timberlake was great in it. The asian chick is the same girl that is in "The suite life with Zach & Cody" on Disney. She is definately all grown up now.
Craigslist - The Movie will rock with all the white slavery twists thrown in. But the part about buying a '98 LeSabre with 157,000 miles on it will probably suck.

Pre-screening last night in Toledo. Got the tickets, had never even heard of it. I didn't have much expectation, but my wife and I both thought it was a great movie.

Websurfinbird;454041 wrote:I see your point. However the evolution of Facebook was definitely a big deal. Anyone who was a college student (and had access to Facebook) during the time it was founded can attest to that. You have to remember this was a site only for college students and had a huge influence on the social experience there. For example, it changed the way sororities and fraternities recruited, making it a lot easier for them to size up potential pledges long before they cam to rush. Yes this was done before, but Facebook made it a lot easier. Before Facebook, most social networks were just wastelands, but Facebook offered something very unique for the college student by giving them the ability to create groups (used for social clubs, sports etc.), see who shared classes with you, and other features that changed the way students experienced school.
That said Facebook today isn't what it was. I think it went downhill when it was opened up to everyone and they added all those applications. That said I understand as a business it has to grow.
I was one of those college students. Facebook came out in my freshman year of college 04-05. It helped out a lot when trying to find out stuff about classes and other college related things. I have always said that Facebook was better then than it is now. But, like you said a business needs to grow. I remember a stretch of almost a year when I logged on 3-4 times tops. I really thought the site was going to die when it opened up to everyone. Instead, it just killed myspace.
