That doesn't even make sense.

However, my previous statement does.

The part about you liking the move might, but the rest of it doesn't. Again, there is more in the world than Ohio State football.

Excuse me for making a mistake, I know I'm not perfect like "Pick my nose" and Auto. I wish I had a career flipping burgers like those two.

What does that have to do with anything? And one SCC grad makes a grammatical error on a message board and now the school's academics suck? Yeah, that makes sense.

Typical weak ND digs.....goes along perfectly with my original statement.

This seems like an odd move for Ohio State to make right now if the new Big Ten schedule isn't set yet. Nebraska joins the conference that year, which makes it likely that OSU's conference schedule will change between now and whenever they decide on division alignments. There is also a lot of talk about expanding the conference schedule from eight to nine games once Nebraska joins, which would mean that open date would be filled with a conference opponent. Maybe since other schools already have four OOC games scheduled for next year they wouldn't be able to go to a nine game conference schedule in 2011 anyway. Just seems like OSU shouldn't sign a contract for that date until the new conference alignment and schedule is worked out.

i'd rather play Nebraska, and have 10 conference games every year from then on.

I think it would be good to play everyone in your conference every year, but I know I'm in the minority there.

Also, why all the hate for UND and from UND recently? I don't get why we can't just talk about the schedule for the team without a pissing match breaking out. cool the fuck down. we all like who we like. belittling those you don't like is a Capone move.

First off, playing 10 conference games has never been and will never be an option. Besides, if we played 10 conference games there would still be one team left off the schedule, you'd need 11 conference games to play everyone.

10 conference games give you only two out-of-conference games each year, which means only 7 home games at the most, which is at least one less than what schools like OSU and Michigan have annually now, which means a major loss in revenue.

I agree that it would be best to play everyone in your conference every year, but not when your conference has more than 10 teams.

Co-sign. GREAT post. Couldn't agree more. I don't like OSU....but I don't feel the need to constantly remind people of that by being an asshole and trolling and bashing. Attempt to be decent and objective or just leave people alone. It's not that hard.

playing a struggling Big 12/Pac 12 team is better than playing a mid major (ie MAC) team,at least in the eyes of the those outside of the Big Ten....a lot of it is public perception, even though any number of MAC teams can (and did) beat Colorado.

Wow, times must be really tough in Boulder. Once a proud program and now taking games with huge payouts similar to MAC schools.
