Your busy at work and starved. You leave the office to grab some lunch. You go to the drive thru and take it back to office to feast. While stirring through your food you notice a hair. What do you do?

Call them up. You will get immediate help and a free meal for starters. How far you want to take it beyond that is up to you.

Oh, and no way would I eat it.

Unless there is more than one, or its all entangled I throw it out and move on. I don't think a hair is as big of a deal as alot of people make it out to be! I mean really, is that 1 hair any dirtier than the wrapper or box that burger is sitting in?? Let alone the person who was making physically touched every piece of your food and if you think they wear gloves 100% of the time you are wrong!!

Unless I think its a pube then there is trouble!

I was hungry and the hair was long and looked like a woman's and I did not have time to mess around and get another meal. So I ate anyways. Should I be ashamed?

There's a hair in your food? No problem here. :)

My food? Can't do it, I'd probably just pitch it, possibly with a call to the restaurant.

Disgusting. The varsity basketball team would go to team camp in OU every summer in HS. The summer before my sophomore year we stopped in Lancaster to eat at Rax for some unknown reason. I was sitting at a table with the guy who never played and whose name the crowd would chant late in the game for him to get mop up duty. He was a hot head who really wasn't any good but was one of those guys that would hustle his ass off in practice. So he opens up his beef and cheddar sandwich or whatever and takes a huge bite of it. When he is pulling the sandwich away from his mouth it looks like a long string of cheese is hanging between his mouth and the sandwich. He goes to take care of it and realizes its about a 8-10 inch long piece of hair complete with gobs of melted cheese on it. I about puked myself. He stormed up to the counter with the hair in his hand and demanded a refund. The manager said he couldn't do a refund but would give him a new sandwich. Obviously this pissed him off and he cussed out the manager then stormed out the door and sat down on the curb outside our team van. I haven't been able to eat at a Rax or an Arby's since.

Accidents happen. Write it off.

It's a bummer but throw it out and go a little hungry that day.

If it happened again from the same place......then you've got to call them and let them know....then never purchase from them again.

One time while out to dinner with my wife she went to the restroom before our meal came to the table. While she was gone I pulled a few hairs from my chest and set them on her plate. When she returned and saw them and I had to give in and tell her that I did it before she caused a seen. I believe I slept on the couch that night.

As others have already said. It's just a hair. I'd pull it out and finish eating.
