AH.....the mid-late 80s Whitney Houston. Top of the world with endless amounts of singing talent mixed with a personality and look that everyone seemed to like.

Kids.... please say no to drugs


Pics of her nowadays are painful and just flat out sad. I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't see 50.....hope I'm very wrong.

They should do a Jersey Shore "senior" season on VHI, with her, Springsteen, Bon Jovi and other weathered Garden-staters ...

By the time the Body Guard came around Whitney had already been at the top for over 10 years. Not only did she make her mark in music in the mid 80's, she was an accomplished model years before that (Glamour, Cosmo, Seventeen).

Thats unreal, its almost like two different people. When she does pass away, Bobby should be charged with murder.

I disagree with some of you - about it being Bobby's fault.

Everything she got into was her decision. She might have loved him, but that doesn't mean she had to emulate him.
She could have left his sorry ass behind before ever walking down that path.

Bobby wasn't the main fault but both had a lot in common with being so popular at such young ages.

Not many tried her songs on Idol as it just wasn't fair. Smoothest power voice ever.
