I bought Monster Squad on Blu Ray and I can't get it to work on my PS3. I've never had any problems with any other Blu Ray in the past, anyone ever had any problems with their ps3 and blu ray dvds? It won't shut off with the disc in, it won't even register that there is a disc in the tray. I tried other blu rays and have had no problem.

Sounds like a bad disc maybe?

PS3 is suppose to be the most up-to-date blu ray player.

I had the same problem with the netflix disc. It was a bad disc. everything else worked but that one disc and had the problems that you are saying. I got a new disc from them and have not had anymore problems

Take the Blu Ray back and get a new one.
