The return of NFL tonight on NBC at 8PM...

I know the starters will probably only play maybe 2-3 series in the 1st pre-season game of the year. But it'll be good to just finally see some NFL/football action. It's been wayyyyy too long!

I am excited. Even though it might be the ultimate throw away game, it still marks the beginning of the season.

I have tix, but I gave them to my kid and his aunt(Bengals fan)....thank god football is here.

Can't wait to see if Ochocinco and T.O. have something planned tonight. I'm more interested in seeing Gresham out there (hopefully he plays.. the holdout may keep him out I don't know) and the other rookies they picked. Shipley was a nice pick as well.

According to a few of the Bengals beat writers on twitter Gresham will play tonight, how much is to be determined. Looking to see who the 5th possible WR may be. Matt Jones, Jerome Simpson, Dez Briscoe

I've heard Matt Jones has looked bad thus far in training camp. I don't know anything about Briscoe and Simpson has never broken through yet.

How is Bryant doing? I heard he may take a trip to the PUP list

I'm already annoyed by the Facebook "Who Dey's". Seems the bandwagon is a little more crowded than last year!

That is funny I have some friends who last season were all about the Bengals, and I never remember them rooting for them in the past.

And when questioned, they had been Bengals fans "for years."

Wish I could have made it to this, looks like a fun atmosphere. I'd imagine it's a pretty even crowd too.

Why do the Bengals sign "shaky" characters? Is it part of Coach Lewis's plan to rehabilitate?
