Any other Ohio Chatters make it out there? Was out there last night and saw a couple of good bands play, Homeland, Tartan Terrors and Gaelic Storm along with other pipers and drummers and collecting some Irish food and of course some Killian's to make it through the evening

Not this year I will be enjoying my Guinness at B-Dubs this year. Good festival though one of the better ones right behind Oktoberfest imo

Went last night with a few friends. First time ever going. Interesting experience...and by interesting I mean "I'm the only black dude out here in a sea of red headed white people" kind of interesting.

Did enjoy some Killian's though. Fun times.

Naw we weren't under the tent, we were standing way in the back. I'm not sure what band was playing, but my friend seemed to like them. They were singing as song about "You bring the whiskey, I'll bring the light" or something.

I had a dark green t shirt on, and there was an Asian chic in our group, haha.

yeah that would be Gaelic Storm. Songs are about some pretty random stuff most of the time but they're a goos group. At least if you were way in the back you weren't getting bumped/humped/stepped on by overanxious teens trying to push up front

So what I'm getting out of this is that there were TWO black people and an ASIAN at the Irish Festival?

Saw a new band called "Barley Juice" and they were very good - played a great tune called "Get Your Irish On". Gaelic Storm rocked the house like they do every year. Had to have been 2500 - 3000 people around the tent when GS came on. Maybe the best annual festival in the greater Cols area every year.

You're right about there being about 3000 people, and with no assigned seating being underneath the tent is dangerous, people walking all over you and trying to invade your personal space as they get closer to the stage

I wasn't yelling at people, however I was disappointed in how so many folks who didn't show up until 15 minutes before showtime felt they could walk all over and stand in front of people that had been there since 4:00
