HDvHS FAN wrote: Davidson Schedule:

1. Mentor- Rematch of the greatest state title game in Ohio history.
2. Brother Rice- Lost to them in Detroit in 04. Would love this years team to play them again.
3. Grove City- The longest Davidson rivalry.
4. DeSales- Don't really have to explain this one. Two C/O Powers.
5. Worthington Kilbourne- Always a classic game. Split Regional titles in 04-05.
6. Upper Arlington- Always a great game.
7. Coffman- THE RIVALRY...nuff said.
8. St. Xavier- Rematch of 05 Final 4 game.
9. Brookhaven- OCC v CCL. Always a close game. Davidson's discipline vs. 'Havens athletes.
10. Darby- Crosstown Showdown.
THIS!

I could be talked into replacing Brother Rice with a Region 1 team like Iggy or a Region 2 team like Canton McKinley

ah, a rematch of the '83 state championship game at the horseshoe, good call, that was a heck of a good football game. who knows it just could happen but it would have to be the 1st game of the season. maybe a neutral sight would be a better fit.

Gahanna Lincoln:

1 - Brookhaven - better neighborhood rivalry than Mifflin and a great match-up
2 - New Albany - fast growing neighbor to the north, most kids know each other, the Lions and Eagles have started to play in most other sports. Could develop into a Dover/New Philly type game.
3 - Westerville South - why, oh why do the Lions not play the Wildcats, a longtime foe prior to this decade is a mystery to all in Gahanna.
4 - Westerville North - bring back this great rivalry as well.
5 - Groveport - This has heated up as well the last few years
6 - Newark - this has become a great series since Newark & Lancaster joined the OCC in the 90's.
7 - Lancaster - Ditto above comment
8 - Pickerington Central - want to be the best, play the best.
9 - Reynoldsburg - the longest played series on Gahanna's schedule.
10 - Upper Arlington - to me one of the potentially greatest rivalarys in Central Ohio that has failed due to not being played consistantly

*Thomas Worthington could also be a possibility. Bring back that old rivalry from the 1970's! Those were incredible games.
