We watched the parade last year with the grandkids but where to young to enjoy everything about the parade.
So we are going again this year ..... I will make the trip downtown to save a spot (5:00 in the morning) and watch as the crowd drifts in… The family will bring me coffee and sweet roll for breakfast. I think I will take the laptop and camera and send (if I can) photos during the parade or I will just take photo and post them the next day….

Anyone else going to the HOF Parade?

Nope. Wife goes every year. Gets up and leaves at about 4:30 in the morning. Went twice, that was enough for me. You seen it once, and you're good. It never changes. Accept for the football players...that's about it.

BTW where is the best place to park? And how early do I need to be there?

Thanks in advance.

I used to go every year until I was 20. Always a good time and definitely a memory of my childhood. I always liked hearing stories from my parents of how everyone used to party all night on the parade route and then wake up to the parade. Unfortunately they have stopped that and have made it more family friendly-- which it should be of course! Haha. Just seeing the pictures of what people used to do the night before were crazy enough for me.

Today is Alan Page's 65th birthday, he is driving his 1906 Buick in the parade. Page is a Canton native, Central Catholic class of '64. He worked part time while in high school in construction helping to build the Hall of Fame. He was enshrined in 1988.
