I still have a hard time not picking Tera Patrick...but I am beginning to see Katy Perry shouldn't be dismissed so easily..

Agreed (well, about the Katy Perry part). What I realized after seeing her on the Teen Choice Awards last night was that she has what I would call timeless beauty. Different societies at different points in history have varying views on what is beautiful. In the 1600's fat was beautiful, because if you were heavy it meant you had money to eat well. In the 1980's flat butts were in, then in the 90's it became a round backside. If you took someone considered beautiful by today's standards and put them in the 1600's, 1800's or even 1980's, they may not be considered as beautiful as they are today. However, Perry has all of the physical features that make here appear timeless, as if she would be considered a knockout in any period.

I see what you are saying and I agree Katy Perry is very attractive, but her look is contrived. She was a blond who wanted to get the "old hollywood/40s/50s look so she dyed her hair and started dressing like Annette Funicello.

Then again, Marilyn Monroe is arguably at the top of the most beautiful women of all time list and she was no natural blond. So who knows.
