Since the trading deadline Adam Dunn has 4 HR (2 tonight thru 4 innings)

He's swinging hot again has 28 HR, 70 RBI and 28 doubles........will he finish the season in Colorado or San Francisco

I'm guessing the Rockies will pick him up off waivers. He kills San Diego and Arizona......especially San Diego.....even in there park.

He would rake in San Fran IMO. Put a few more balls into the Cove.

I wouldn't mind seeing him in Atlanta. Can't be any worse than Troy Glaus has been since May.

Troy Glaus could just loan Dunn his uniform as they are both monstrous....Glaus has been atrocious for 3 of the 4 months and POM in the other month.

Dunn on the Braves...I would love that...as would Dunn so he couldn't have to face Hanson and Hudson

I wish the Cardinals could get him, that would guarantee the Reds the division.

No doubt Dunn is on pace for one of the better seasons of his career. He's hitting his dingers as usual, but the average is up and his OPS is above his career average as well. He'll certainly be a huge help to one of those teams.

With Youk out for the season they could be going after him but the Waivers would have to go through nearly every team before getting to them

current record, 1 league at a time.

For example, with Dunn:
worst NL team.....best NL team, worst AL team.....best AL team

An NL team has already claimed Dunn, so he's not going to Boston. Boston will get Carlos Delgado.

Let's say Colorado claims him......but can't get a deal done with Washington.....can Dunn go back onto waivers? I forget how it works.

Is Delgado back to health? If so why has no one went after him.....he was killer before he got hurt.

No, you can only go on waivers once, which is why you really want to get someone traded before the deadline. Colorado could claim him and have no intention of trying to sign him just to prevent other teams from getting him.

Delgado is supposedly healthy now and has interest from a few teams.

btw, if Colorado did claim Dunn and Washington really doesn't want him, Colorado would have to take him and pay his contract. I doubt Washington would do that or they probably would have moved him before the deadline, they are probably looking for something in return. Not sure why they didn't move him earlier, he's not worth the 4mil for a last place team. Use it to help your team next season.

Washington has said they want him back for next year.......just trying to rent him off for a prospect or something I suppose.

I don't think Colorado or San Fran would take him to block others

If he can't be dealt with a deal through claims the Nats will have him the rest of the year and pay him his $3.91 million for that time.......and by doing so get 2 additional draft picks in next year's draft

Some feel the Rockies or Giants would claim him to keep San Diego from getting him.....but in San Diego he'd have to play OF in that huge OF.......but he kills it in Petco hitting and the Pads know that so I could see them sacrificing some defense for what he could provide for that lineup offensively.

Who knows, it's definitely intriguing. The Giants are 2nd best in the NL, so the Braves would be ahead of them.

I assume they go with the standings at the time he is put on waivers? When did that happen? Braves beat the Giants today and now have the second best NL record behind the Padres.

Him being hot with 4 HR in 4 August games could sway the claimer a touch more.
