First thing I thought of looking at those pictures is "How the hell do the cars turn onto a crossroad if they are trapped under a bus?!"

While it's a cool idea, I think this is just going to cause more problems than it would fix.

Been there.... It is hard to believe traffic could be any more terrifying in China than it is already. However, this might be able to accomplish just that. Traffic lights and lanes seem only to be a suggestion in China... I was almost numb from being terrified while traveling in autos/buses there.

In a related story, tiny cars announce intention to unite and transform into giant megatron to defeat monster bus.

I was wondering how the giant bus itself could ever make a turn.

All I can say is.....be careful when making turns!.

On a serious note, I wonder if that's cheaper than making an elevated train. Seems like that would be a more practical solution.

If they make his like an El it would work. Have it at certain stops and just on rails. The rails could go up at intersections allowing for turns. This really is a pretty good idea if they work it correctly.
