since its shark week, i thought it was a fitting story...ive been to cape cod quite a few times, and always go to Chatham. well now they have reported more than 10 shark sightings since last friday right off of south beach...pretty crazy to think the same parts i swam in a few years ago are now full of great whites!

They starting coming up here a few years ago, and now they're coming every summer since there's an ample supply of seals. Will be interesting to see how people deal with them; they're protected, but with multi-million dollar homes lining the Cape, I'm sure more than a few will end up on the wrong end of a harpoon.

^^yeah i remember seeing something similar last year, but it wasnt until mid/late september when the vacation season was winding down, its only the beginning of august now...

There haven't been any attacks that I know of though, which is good. People just have to stay 100 yards away from seals.

There were 3 sightings off the coast of Jacksonville earlier this year through the electronic monitoring tags in the sharks!

As long as it didn't have a pretzel. A Kennedy would just jump a car off a bridge onto the thing, lol
