It's kinda difficult to make a prediction because of injuries to key players. Will Ben play? Will Troy play? That will change things significantly IMO. We should have some idea tomorrow during Tomlin's weekly press conference.

^^ This. If Batch plays, I say Ravens win by 7-10.

Pittsburgh is getting perilously close to being a marginal wild-card play-off team. They need to heal in a hurry or this season could get away from them. How bad is Ben's injury? Charlie Batch???????? The Ravens will win if he is the QB.

Chris Kemeatou (I know I messed his last name up) will miss a few games with an MCL injury. Not good. Not good at all.

^^^^^Wow, that isn't good. Throw in Charlie Batch and Ben's injury, and the Steelers are a mess right now. Oh well, it's the nature of the beast when talking about the NFL.

The Steelers had some margin for error before yesterday. Now they have none.
I don't like their chances, though.
The Ravens played with good passion despite losing to the Colts. The Steelers are all together lacking confidence and any kind of momentum. With Polamalu hurt and now Ben probably hurt or at least feeling the affects, it's not a good situation for a critical game.
They still might lose with those two but if either one or neither play, I'd say it's a guaranteed loss at Baltimore.

let's say for the sake of discussion the Steelers lose to the Ravens
then win their last five -- Oakland, Cleveland, Green Bay, Baltimore (home), Miami
they would finish 11-5 and 8-4
they would definitely finish ahead of Baltimore because Baltimore would have at least 10-6
they would definitely finish ahead of Miami because the head-to-head win would make Miami at least 10-6
Denver 6-4
at K.C.
at Indy
Oakland
at Philadelphia
Kansas City
Denver will definitely lose one more bringing them to at least 11-5 and they would lose the head-to-head to Pittsburgh
that leaves Jacksonville (6-4) and Houston (5-4)
Jacksonville (6-4)
at San Francisco
Houston
Miami
Indianapolis
at New England
at Cleveland
they'll lose two for sure
Houston (5-4)
Tennessee
Indianapolis
at Jacksonville
Seattle
at St. Louis
at Miami
New England
a loss tonight would give them five but even if they win they still have some tough games and probably won't finish better than 10-6
so the Steelers can lose to Baltimore and win their remaining games and claim the No. 5 seed

The paper today makes it sound like Ben will get the start. The spin doctors are at work on this one.

Ben is supposed to start
Baltimore needs this game bad or they are pretty much finished.
Batch's season is over or atleast he is out for 6 weeks.

Just hoping the Steelers don't get blown out but I think they will.
Ravens are going to be all over Dixon.
Steelers aren't showing a lot of leadership on defense either. Aaron Smith was a good central figure and he's out. Polamalu, although quiet, still is a guy the others lean on when the going gets tough. Farrior is finally showing decline this season.
Some of the guys like James Harrison, Ike Taylor, William Gay are good to average players but not leaders, they're kind of knuckleheads personality-wise.
