Agree, if it was a CLEAR UPGRADE, an ace. AKA, Cliff Lee or nobody, at least for this deadline. Once Lee went, it wasn't worth acquiring another pitcher, especially a starter.

I agree for the most part. I'd have taken Oswalt as well, but no other starters (Westbrook, lol) were worth making a move for.
