Got offered and accepted a position at a software company in Highland Hills, which is right off 271 in between Shaker and Warrensville Heights. I'm not familiar at all with the area, so I need the help of my fellow Chatters. What are some areas I should look into moving to? What are some areas I absolutely don't want to consider? Many thanks for your help.

I couldn't agree more. You could host family get-togethers.

Lebron still didn't have to leave. He would never have to live in any of those houses.

If you want a serious answer (btw- my wife has is working on flipping her third house similar to those shown; making $5-10K profit for very little work).

If you are looking to rent, there are some decent apartments on Warrensville Road just sourh of Chagrin...5 min from work. They are in Shaker Hts. I would stay away from the complexes at Rockside and 271-- pretty transient.
I live in Cleveland Hts and coach in Orange-- a lot of very nice houses in Orange/Pepper Pike/Beachwood right now at a big discount as the economic issues have hit their a bit slower.

There are also a couple decent apartment complexes at Cedar and 271-- about ten minutes to work. Forgot what they are called- but drive by them every day to work myself.

PM if you want more details.

i work over on the east side of cleveland next to east cleveland and cleveland heights, but i live over in north olmsted(30 minute drive). i prefer this area, but when i moved a few weeks ago i was also looking that way over by where you work. i think the further you head east the better.

Looks like the perfect place to run my meth lab from!

Uh, for any law enforcement types here, I don't really mean "meth lab". That's my slang for, you know, girl scout cookies or something.
