Hummus is terrible. The taste is okay but the texture is the worst.

I'm not a fan of weird textured food but hummus has never bothered me. I've never really noticed much of a texture to it. Maybe the pure deliciousness overpowers it.

Wife is a fan, but I'm not a fan. However, after reading this thread, I have a hankering to try it again.

Love hummus. I could have it on anything, Zohan style. I'm excited to go back to Israel to get the real stuff, though not sure where to get the best version.

The Wife bought some a few months ago. She thought it tasted good when she sampled it at the store. It tasted like cardboard to me. We are convinced it was the flavored cracker, that it was on, was what was giving it any flavor at the store.
Now last night she made her own 'hummus'. Minus the tahini and she used white beans. That turned out pretty good. I liked it much better than the store bought stuff.
