Pepperoni bread is bread with slices of pep and cheese baked inside, it is soft like fresh bread not tough like pizza crust. There is no sauce in it. It is the ultimate bar food. You can also find pepperoni balls in Erie, it is a baked or fried bread dough with pepperoni in it. I've haven't found either of these in Columbus.

We call them pepperoni rolls. And you're right, they are the best bar food ever. Used to be a place in Marietta called Brownies just down the street from the Townhouse (bar) that made the best pep rolls. Unfortunately it burned down a few years ago.
