Indian Nation...lets get this ball a rolling.

About a month until the season starts....who else can't wait for the season to get here?

Anyone been to any of the 7 on 7's? How did they look?

Is there a schedule yet for scrimmages? If so, please post them.

I really expect NW to surprise a lot of people this year. Although nobody ever overlooks us anymore, I still think that many will be surprised with the talent that we will put on the field this year. Riley looks to be growing into an awesome threat at QB along with a very seasoned team that got a lot of playing time last year due to very few senior starters.

Any other thoughts on what to expect?

I have heard that we are going back to our traditional offense due to a lot better size on the line....which I know makes me extremely happy.

I will even say that I think NW will win the NBC this year....

They looked 5 wide to me at the Stark Jamboree. However I just watched them a little.

They should have a nice year and another playoff run.

Not sure you are quite right on this prediction.

Do not be surprised if Marlington goes 10-0!

I know Marlington will be tough this year, and so will Louisville....but I still think we will surprise a lot of people.

I talked to a few people who were at the 7 on 7 at Massillon and they all claim that the Northwest quarterback was the best that they had seen so far this year...

See you in less than a month....we lost 19 seniors so you should it should be another shellacking.

We may not even show up.

So, according to a guy over on the devil's site...I am wrong about our offence going back to normal. He said that it is still spread but will have a bigger line than last year in case we need to run the ball. Hopefully they will mix it up at least a little bit this year. It would be nice to be able to score inside the redzone this year.

Are they at Central tonight for 7 on 7? If so, what time?

So another 0-2 start to the season for the Red Riders. Ouch!

So has there been anything actually happening regarding Northwest reapplying to the NBC for 2011? I know there was talk that they may try once the levy passed.

As of now, no conference with opening for us. NBC, ECOL, OCC, PAC, AAC has our requests. Either not a good fit for some, or they dont trust our stability with our levy problems. Good times, but NW kids will continue to battle everygame and come out on top most of them.

The Repository had an article a few weeks ago about the NBC expanding to bring back Northwest. I will see if I can find it in the archives on their website.

As we are already scheduling independent for the next two years, don't plan on any league action again until at least the 2013 season.

Any details from the 7 on 7's?

Scrimmage schedule?

I noticed on the OHSAA open dates page that said scheduling seems to not be going too hot. They may be able to jump into somewhere earlier if that trend continues and something opens up (NBC adding a 9th school would be most likely)
