Well, I stand corrected. "Appearance fees" at bars seems about like the dumbest idea there is. It certainly isn't to bring money into the club, maybe should be viewed more as an advertising expense since the papparazi always report what club Paris, etc...is at.

Saw an article maybe a few years ago that the "A-list" celebs were getting $50k or more for Vegas clubs and after the recession that was a thing of the past, so maybe the fees are more like $10-$15k now. Even $5k - can you imagine getting paid like that to party with everything comped?

In the show, it actually seemed kind of like nothing happened, though Vinnie claimed not to remember. Of course, perhaps MTV took mercy on her as she was still dating that juice head back home at the time.

According to "The Situation" a grenade is a fat ugly chick, while a landmine is a thinner ugly chick. Snooki is definitely a grenade at this point.

I can't wait until the episode where "single Ronnie" gets exposed for all the creepin he's doing at the clubs while going home to smush with Sammie in her bed. It's going to be a full blown world war in that house.

I've only watched a few shows, but I've yet to see these guys creep or hook with anything other than grenades and land mines.

I mean, it's hilarious that they are now something of celebs and they STILL can't pull quality tail.

With Snooki you have to watch out for shrapnel.

From what I heard they couldn't get into the good clubs in Miami. Never been but it's supposed to have some of the best looking people in the country and I haven't been impressed with what I've seen.

Wearing a t-shirt? Probably not, lol! Not that surprised, though...wouldn't want them in my club either and the high-end clientele (celebs, trust fund babies and successful business people) don't want to be caught on tape in the background.

MIA probably has its share of good-looking people, but the club scene probably scores higher because of all the international tourists that come there. More or less a numbers game - there's something like 20M people within 30 minutes of MIA, so 1% would still be 200,000 good looking people. Kind of like CHI and NY don't necessarily have a much higher % of attractive people, they just have SOOOO many more people than most cities.

Went to Nikki Beach in Miami on Sunday a year ago and there were definitely better looking people there than what we have seen them pull so far and that place wasn't even the "it" club.

Apparently filming down there and finding any clubs that agreed to let the cameras in was a major issue as none of them wanted the hassle that came along with letting them in and the logistics of the film crew and security detail that followed them around because they were famous this time around.

Plus MTV was making clubs sign a waiver saying that they could come in and do whatever (including destroying the place) and the network was not liable for the cost to repair.

Which begs the question, why let that trash in your club? They have to put on a show for the cameras and what if someone takes issue with it?

I've been to club B.e.d. in Miami. At the time, it was an "it" club. Have no idea what it's doing now, but I've seen clips of the Jersey Shore gang going into that club. It basically has a bunch of beds all over the place.

Funny you would say that. My girlfriend's sons' "friend" has taken on this "look" because he thinks it's cool. The kid strolled into the room, jacked & tanned, wearing the Ed Hardy t-shirt with his hair cut like "The Situation" and a chain around his neck hanging to his crotch.

My first thought was "Jesus Christ, do ya THINK that look is "doing it" for ya?" Most people watch the show to LAUGH AT these characters not because they are cool/role models. My second thought was "oh my god, dude is a friggin douche bag...he is one of those pictures of boy band wannabees that they used to post on JJ Huddle & OhioChatter that EVERYONE called 'douchebags'."

BED used to be in the Chelsea area of NYC, and had its moment in the sun (Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan made it famous), but club popularity shifts quickly here, and now its closed.

In news that clearly signals the sign of the apocalypse, it is being reported "The Situation" is on pace to earn $5 million dollars this year through the show and endorsements. He is also set to be on Dancing with the Stars next season.

What a country we live in that you can turn Jersey Shore fame into a $5 million dollar payday.

I have to admit, the guy is pretty hilarious. Douchebag? Absolutely, but he knows it and that's what makes it funny. That is the one thing about this show that amazingly makes it entertaining: no one really takes themselves too seriously.

Jersey Shore last night had a series high 6.5 million people tune in, making it the highest rated show on MTV in 8 years since the Osbournes were a phenomenon.

Last nights episode was really good though. Vinnie banging Snooki, the Situation almost hooking up with a Tranny, and Jwoww throwing down with Sammy.

Next week looks good too since they ended on the punches being thrown.

MTV has got to be thanking their lucky stars they didn't replace them with a new cast like they were thinking about when the kids held out for more money as they are the biggest bargain on TV for the kind of ratings they bring in.
