How so.....Pryor is a good QB.....and just because he doesn't throw great does not mean he is not a good QB and one of the Top 3 at his position......He is a dual threat QB

No but when your passing ability ranks you near the bottom of the Big Ten, it doesn't matter how good of a runner you are. You are not an elite quarterback. Elite athlete yes, QB not a chance.Tiger2003;432334 wrote:Agree.....but is passing the only thing that makes a QB good and be a top 3 QB?

Since the BCS, id venture to say he has had the worst stats of a starting QB to win the title. I may be wrong, but I bet hes either worst, or 2nd worst. And easily has worse stats then everyone I listed.
Hes an average QB who played on a GREAT team

I would say you are right. Krenzel's stats that year have to be the worst of any starting QB to win a BCS championship.Hb31187;432342 wrote:Lol If you really think Krenzel is better then everyone i named then Idk what to tell you honestly. karen lotz;432353 wrote:Passing efficiency is what I was going by. That takes more into account than yards. If you are using the passing attempts argument, that also means the opportunities for INT would be less which would explain the second fewest INTs. 18 TD vs 11 INTs. He was 8th out of 10 ranked in the passing rankings (minnesota's QB was not ranked at all). Freshman Tate Forcier and the QB from INDIANA were the only two ranked lower. Good try Mr. Realistic.
Tiger2003;432364 wrote:Mr Realistic you are right...I am.....After the Purdue game....Pryor really started playing like a 5 star qb should. 8 Td to 3 ints......He has made great improvement.....and I am sticking to my Top 3 QB ranking.

I didn't realize football became an individual sport. I guess it makes sense then that Krenzel was the best QB in 2002. "Mr. Realistic" LOLTiger2003;432377 wrote:1. McElroy is number 1 why wouldn't he be....he wins games....he doesn't make mistakes and always give his team a chance to win the game.
