Like some others I was finishing my junior year in college working full-time as an apprentice meat cutter to pay my way.

At age 21, I currently have one class left to complete my major and minor courses of study and earn my undergraduate degree. I also have 1 year of college coaching experience on my belt and feel well on my way to earning a graduate assistant coaching position so that I can earn my MBA and hopefully begin a college coaching career

At nineteen I'm taking two organic chemistry summer classes, working in a pharmacy, and applying for grad school. I'll be junior status by Christmas and hopefully I'll start pharmacy school next fall.

Age 20? Had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I am where I am right now all because of chance circumstances. If you asked me when I was 20 if I would be where I am right now, I'd say hell no. I have a good life. Good wife. Good kids. Good job. Nice house.

If I could go back to 20, I'd be more childish.

21 with another year of college to go in a field that is one of the easiest to get a job in, have to pay $919 dollars a month in school loans starting a year. Probably will work two jobs to be able to do that since my parents shouldn't have to which should have me living fairly comfortable despite the school loans.

I get bored with females after 2 weeks, I can't see myself getting married before the age of 27, you would have to convince me I can handle the financial aspect of raising a kid on top of everything else.

Each year though I'd say for myself I notice a change in maturity though. Things I cared about last summer seem relatively small in comparison to my current decisions of deciding where I want to work and what city that may be in. It might be slow progress, but considering some of the people I know, I go to bed every night and consider myself pretty lucky.

When I was 20 I just got married, a wife and baby to support, and school to finish. One of the toughest times of my life. I worked a full midnight shift and went to school during the day to finish up. Slept a few hours before I had to be at work again at 11pm. The physical and mental fatigue was only rivaled with starting my own business.

I remember in one of my morning classes in college sitting in the front row and being so tired I could not stay awake. My professor thought he was calling me out by asking me a question. He knew I was out cold. He called me out in front of everyone. I let him know my situation and he shared with us the he to had a similar road to hoe to achieve his education. Regardless of my situation I graduated with a high GPA and with honers. Most proffs are more than happy to help those making sacrifices and are willing to work to achieve their goals in life. I will always be thankful for their availability when questions needed answered.

Well seeing as I just turned 21 this is relevant.

At 20 I kind of got it together and did pretty well in school. I'll be a junior next year in college.

I was married at 20 to my childhood sweetheart (although she didn't know it at the time.) Like another poster I was working 40 hours a week on the night shift in a factory and going to school in the daytime. It was very difficult but we made it through. I was still working full time when I got my first teaching job and I worked as a half-time night custodian in my second school which is where I just retired from after 43 years. 4 children and nine grandchildren later, I would have to say that although I'm certainly not a millionaire, we've done ok and I think I've been an effective employee.

I was married, had a child, and in the Air Force. I was stationed in South Korea away from them for part of the time when I was 20. Ended up stateside for the rest of it. Was working on getting a divorce by the time I was 21...divorced a few weeks after my 22nd Birthday.

Lol the internet is really serious business for Belly today.
