Great parity indeed in the SCOL this year. I think Hillsboro, in my mind, is the favorite with their outstanding guard play from Turner, Carroll and Steagall. Plains will be a tough out every night with McCollister (Sp?) and their big man, and you can never count out the Blue Lions or the Tigers. Going to be a tough league this year where a 3 loss league team could wind up champions.

I think with what Hillsboro has coming back they have to the favorites, and this year's GF/HB games should be real battles.

Washington Court House starts out with a loss at the Zane Trace Classic, not sure who they lost to though. The Blue Lions play at Circleville tonight.

McClain looks like they're going to have to be ultra-aggressive to make a run at the title. By "ultra-aggressive," I mean sneaky, filthy, dirty...everything an "old school" Tiger like myself appreciates in McClain basketball team. The Dante years made us soft...this year hard-nosed, gutsy defense and smart, efficient offense needs to make somewhat of a return. There are no superstars in this program right now, and the more this TEAM plays like it (as a unit) the better they'll get.
